Judo Training times
- Beginners: 5.00pm Wednesdays
- Juniors: 5.00pm Wednesdays & 5.00pm Monday
- Seniors: 6.00pm Wednesdays, 6.00pm Monday & 1.00pm Saturday
Beginners include beginners to yellow belts age of 5 to 10 year olds.
The beginners meet on a Wednesday evening (during school term time) from 5:00pm to 6:00pm
Juniors classes are for 11 to 14 year olds which also meet on Monday and Wednesday from 5:00pm to 6:00:pm during school term time.
Seniors (age 15 years +), meet on Monday and Wednesday 6:00pm and on Saturday 1:00pm for a focus on Uchi-komi, exercise and competition techniques

Beginners/Juniors/Seniors
Judogi: Recommended, but not compulsory for beginners, but necessary for youth and senior judoka.
A Gi can be bought at Auckland Martial Arts Supplies Cost: $60 per term for 1 member or $50 per person for multiple family membersAnnual Judo NZ Registration $89 independent of club fees. The Judo NZ registration fee will be due at the beginning of the term following starting date.
Judo NZ Grading Fee:
This is the fee due to Judo NZ whenever a judoka sucessfully completes their examinations to qualify for a higher grade belt level. (Junior tip grading is free, only a full belt grade has a fee)
For 6th kyu (white) = free
5th kyu to 2nd kyu (yellow to blue) = $50
1st kyu (brown) $85

Judo NZ is the govering body for the sport. Kerikeri Judo Club falls under the Auckland Judo Region.
All club members must be registered with Judo NZ. Twelve months registration is $89 per member.

The Kerikeri Judo Club (inc) is under the governing body of the NZ Judo Federation (NZJF) and is a member of Auckland Judo Association (AJA).
Registration with the NZJF and AJA provides grading that is recognized throughout the World and gives access to training camps, coaching seminars, kata classes, the ability to enter competionions and much more...
